Summer Crafting...

I hope you all are having a fabulous summer.  I'm in the process of wrapping up our time in Alaska.  A few more days of work to go, one day off and then we'll be boarding our plane and start the long process of getting home.  It's gonna take approximately 17 hours of flight time, layovers, and flight changes to finally get us where we are going.  After that it's a two hour drive.  It's gonna be a fun time because in the end we will be home again together as a family.  As much as I love Barrow I love my husband more.  Maybe someday the Lord will bring us as a family back to the arctic.  If not the arctic, I'll settle for Alaska.  :-)

Anyhow, I've been able to squeeze in a couple of cards here and there.  It's so nice to finally have something to share.  They are nothing spectacular but I love them none the less.  It's getting back to basics when you have limited supplies on hand to create with and that's where I've found myself... with limited supplies.  The challenge has been fun.

Besides that I've made some flowers here and there too.  All the flowers were made from recycled items. It's surprising how many different materials that could be up-recycled and made into beautiful accessories.  I love each of them.  Oh boy!

Hopefully I'll have more to share before I head home later this week.  If not I'll catch you all later!  It is a joy to share with you and your comments always make me smile.

Hugs,
~Nancy

GORGEOUS! I love these flowers, I think you did an amazing job - isn't it fun to repurpose old items? Glad you made it home to Andrew safely - it sounds like it was a long travel day for you and Ellie.
