The Second Day...

It's day two of the sneak peek previews for the upcoming February releases for Clear Dollar Stamps.  So what do I have to show today?  I've put together a prayer book with matching pencil charm, a wall hanging, and a card.  The new stamp sets that I used are called: "Praying Children" and "Enchanting Carousel". There is also a single sentiment stamp and it's called: "Praise God".  These stamp designs range from the cutesie to the most detailed and it would be hard for me to say which I liked the best because each were inspiring in their own way.

Praying Children
This stamp set is a creation by Wendy Hall.  It's designed around saying your bedtime prayers or helping your children say their prayers.  The actual stamps include both a boy and a girl along with a night sky window, teddy bear, sentiments & a cozy bed.  These images are big enough to paper piece and fun to color.

Enchanted Carousel
Oh was I ever inspired when I first laid eyes on this set.  This one was created by Shawne Arnold.  For my card I embossed the image on watercolor paper and then layered on the markers and shimmer mica watercolors with a ninja brush.  I wanted to keep coloring and coloring the main image.  To top it off and for dimension I also squeezed on Crystal Lacquer.  The background was sponged on with pigment ink.  Oh, the wonder of it all.  This stamp set is so beautiful and intricate.

Praise God
You know I am totally liking Lori McKroskey's new single sentiment called "Praise God".  I think Lori did an awesome job with this design and I love that fact that it points praise to God.  I admire Lori for including it in the Clear Dollar Stamps collection.  It was a perfect stamp for making a wall decoration.  I used Basic Grey papers to set the tone of the design and used a blank coaster for the base.

MoMo, you always amaze me with your quiet acceptance of your talent. Every single one of your samples is just perfect!

And I just want to say that I may be Teeny (in stature and not girth), but let's find a different word than Meany... I'm not mean, I'm just blunt but only in the nicest of ways... How about Sassy Lassy!
