More SNOW...

Our wonderland is here for the long months of Fall, Winter, and Spring. I've had my turn with shoveling the driveway and scrapping the ice off the car windshield now many times over. It's kinda bittersweet to know that in a short six weeks I won't be here any more. Instead we'll be enjoying the beauty of the leaves turning all shades of reds and browns and knowing the Fall time hours of sunlight outside of the arctic darkness.

It's been such a blessing to have spent a portion of my life here in Barrow. I thank God for giving me a time away from everything else and to learn what life is really about... STAMPING!!! Just joking! Yes, I admit that stamping is a huge part of my everyday life now but in the grand scheme of things it's not the most important. Anyhow, thank you for looking in on me. I promise I will have something stamping related to post soon.

Smiles,

Wow Nancy, I'm in Arizona and we just planted our "garden" and have tomatos that just appeared on the vine. It's just cool enough here to be outside again and you have snow, lots of snow!

Loved the snow. We don't get much and sometime none. We are just in the onset of fall with the leaves changing. It was very warm yesterday. I will miss your pictures of Alaska. Sandy in St. Mary's County, Southern MD.

I think it's okay even if stamping is what life is really about for you because if you think about it you stamp about your family, your religion, and your life. It's such an amazing way for you to express your talents and beliefs - plus you've created an amazing community of friends. So cool!

Thanks for all those lovely photos and stories of your life in Barrow--it's been a real education for me. I never knew people actually lived north of the Arctic Circle!

God bless you in your new home in Oregon. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your experiences there!

I love the snow. I think it has their own beauty! The frost on the windows, I still believe that Father Frost does it... And the trees having fury clothes made out of snow... Thank you for sharing this pictures!

Oh my goodness, Nancy! We are so close and yet, a world away, LOL! I'm in the Seattle area, my snow covered friend :) It certainly is beautiful--but 3 of the 4 seasons...GOSH! You must truly know the blessings that come with living in such a unique geographical location. One thing is for sure, you will not run out of snowman material for the holidays, hehe! Hugs~
