What's in the BAG?
I wanted so badly to have six notecards to fill the Stella Tote that I made a couple of days ago. My goal was to keep them simple enough that I would actually get them done in one day. I also wanted to use the scraps left over from the Hemingway papers that was used to make the tote. I am happy to report that I completed my goal and it feels so-ooo-o good! These aren't my usual designs either or maybe they are and I just don't know it. Anyhow, I've been inspired by Kemi, KSS Designs" and Sarah of Lady Gil Designs. Kemi made these really cool cards without layering. Now my cards have layers but I really wanted to go a tad bit simpler. Like Kemi mentioned, "Less is more and the simple cards can look more elegant." I hope she doesn't mind me sharing this. :-) With Sarah's cards I was inspired by her "Rustic Chic" note cards. I just love the simplicity of the design...very clean and beautiful.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and thank you for visiting my blog. I am happy you stopped by.
Big SMILES!

These cards look beautiful! They match your tote perfectly and it's a great way to use those left over scraps of background paper that may have otherwise been cast aside! Another job well done Nancy.
I love them all! I especially like the first one that has a close-up on the top layer and the wider view underneath. And I really like the wave of dots on the second to the last one. Oh, and I love the ribbon on the last one. Yup, I do love them all!
They are awesome, Nancy! Great job getting them completed for your wonderful tote!
I absolutely love these. The colour combination is delicious and the simplicity is elegant.
