Guess WHAT?

Local Public Service Poster

Guess what?  It just so happens that I won't be able to craft much this summer.  I know it's gonna be tough for me to be on a crafty break but I'm trading it in for a seasonal job in Barrow, Alaska.  What a blessing to be able to go back and visit my hometown.  I can't tell you how much I've missed our life in the arctic.  Unfortunately my husband won't be able to be here with us because he has a permanent job to maintain back in Oregon.  I miss him dearly.   It's been a long week without him.  Thankfully there is the internet up here and we can talk and see each other daily.

Late Morning Weather Today

So what does this mean?  As for blogging, I'm going to write and share as time permits.  I do have a couple more cards to show you from the May release over at Clear Dollar Stamps to squeeze in too.  Other than that I'm gonna play tourist during our off time and try to visit all my Barrow friends and family.  It's a blessing that I am going to make the best of.  The reunions are sweet and I am cherishing our Barrow time.

Summer Sunrise Schedule

Although we have been here for a week, Ellie and I are still settling in.  She has been an awesome traveler.  About the only thing off is her adjusting to the sunlit nights.  She can't understand that it's bedtime even though the sun is still up.  So how do you explain that one to a three year old?  :-)

I better get going for now.

Smiles,
~Nancy

Keep away from those polar bears! Enjoy your living on Barrow-ed time (sorry, couldn't resist that one.)
