I can't tell you how great it feels to finally sit down and stamp! Although things aren't finished with our move and there is still lots more to do, I am gonna stamp! It feels so liberating to free myself up to for some fun.
Anyhow, I started off with making some cards. I am way overdue with sending out some love to my friends. Oh no! It just dawned on me that there are some cards to make for some family too. So lovely, I have many more reasons to stamp the rest of the week away!!! YIP-EE!!!
This handful of cards were inspired by two different sketches. The first I came across was one that Allison, Stampin' When I Can, had used. She spotted it over on Clean & Simple Stamping. Sketch number FLT 84. It's funny because I don't think that I did the sketch very clean and simple with the papers that I chose. In any case, I did one with the sketch and two more as a variation yesterday.
Since I already had the papers and stuff out on my desk today I went ahead and used them for another sketch today. This one I found over on Alex's blog, California Stampin'. (HELLO ALEX!) Instead of using the same stamps I used a handful of stamps that my BFF gave me. She might not remember but I promised her that I would use them. :-)
There you have it. I've been stamping and I hope you are having some fun creative time too.
Smiles,
~Nancy
