I Spy!

Oh what fun I had today!  I went to town by myself to do a post office run and while I was out I drove a little farther and went "junking".  That's what Grandma calls it.  :-)  Oh what a happy girl I was.  I had my eye out for an old dictionary or a big fat classic children's book and guess what?!  I found a huge old dictionary for only a buck!  It was so heavy my arm hurt.  I can't wait to make some vintage flowers with the pages.

While I was out I came across a very interesting find.  Now I didn't take one home with me but I did snap a picture to ponder on for the future.  There were these really cool desks that once belonged to the state revenue office.  Each one had a these neat sections built right in for organization.  The top shelves also had adjustable dividers.  You can't see from the photo but each one of the upper dividers could slide out and be repositioned.  REALLY really cool!  The lady next to me was eyeballing one of the desks too.  She loves to sew and had some visions for her sewing room with one of these babies.  I totally get why she wanted one.  :-)

Anyhow, just thought I'd share.

Smiles!

Wow...these desks would be awesome in my art studio! I love the fact that you can slide out these shelves! If you go back to buy them and they're gone, you've got photos to have someone build you a prototype. Is your hubby handy with tools? :o)
