I had two different sets to stamps to create with for today. The first one is called "Scenic Trees". "Scenic Trees" is a mix of both silhouetted trees and sentiments. I wound up making a very simple but colorful card right off the bat with it. The background was done with three different colors of Copic markers and applied with the Copic portable air brush system. I used actual sand for the beach and then colored over it with a black Copic marker. I really love this card. It simplicity makes it standout and is very clean which is not my usual MO. I need to try making more in this style.
Next is the March Stamp of the Month "Terrific Little Tree". You really need to see the actual stamp sheet for this set. It's so cute and fun with lots of accessory options. Today I am showing you both cards that I put together with this clever set. The Autumn style card has the leaves popped up and is more dimensional than the picture captures. With the second "Terrific Little Tree" card I made it more Spring like and freestyled. Going freestyle is oh so fun. What I mean by freestyle is doodling. Yep, I actually doodled on the card and I loved it! :-)
Don't forget to stop on over at Clearly iStamp and the rest of the design team blogs for further inspiration.

Okay, I guess that's it for now. I hope you had a great time with sneak preview time and that I have inspired you to get out and stamp. Big SMILES!

Nancy, I love, love, LOVE your Scenic Trees! Did I mention that I LOVE it?! I think I MUST have that set after seeing what you did with it. . .ahhhh a tropical island.
Your Terrific Little Trees are so fabulous and beautiful too ;D
WOw, the simplicity of the palm trees is striking! Love the shabby style on that tree one with all the popped up leaves, too sweet!
Love the tropical scene you created with those fab trees. And the fact that you used ACTUAL sand should earn you some kind of bonus points! lol
Both your cards are awesome!
All three of these cards are so pretty. I especially love the tree stamp--I love how dimensional you've created it to be...beautiful!
Very pretty! I like how you lace and ribbons on your second tree. The warm colors and leaves on the first one look fabulous. Great sneaks.
WOW! Nancy, three gorgeous cards, girl!! Love all the pretty details, the lace, ribbon, and colors are all fabulous! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
