I am very thankful for my blessings and hardships. Yes, even in my bad times, after I get over myself, I can grow in my faith, our marriage, and as a person. It's been a year of both hardships and blessings. I know I haven't shared enough of either here on my blog. For the most part I was sad and dwelling on my grief and lack of hope for a change in our circumstances since our move to Oregon. Things really are not different now except for me. We are still in the cabin, in the woods, and without an income but I am hopeful. Hopeful that God will make His will known to me and husband.
So where am I going with this? I thought I'd share a couple of my papercrafting blessings of late:
Moe Joe Designs ~ Mary Duffek
Mary, I like to call her Moe, is awesome!!! She is a fabulous designer and holds fun challenges. Through her generosity I have won a challenge and a blog candy since this past summer. Not only that she has included me in her prayers and has been my friend. The prizes and prayers are both precious to me. To top it off her testimony has touched me and encouraged me to thank God for all things. If you don't already know Moe you can find her on the web in several places:
Moe Joe Designs
Her Etsy Shop
CHF & SCS Galleries
Lori McCroskey ~ Clear Dollar Stamps
I can't tell you how I cried when my husband came home from the post office and handed me piece of unexpected mail. It was a handmade card from Lori, the owner of Clear Dollar Stamps. The card was to let me know that she was praying for me. It also included a list of when and what she had prayed for me. As I read the list it had the dates and the requests made on my behalf. This has touched me so. I still tear up just thinking about.
I am also thankful to Lori in that she gave me the opportunity to be on her design team. I originally didn't make the cut but instead I was offered a guest spot. The guest spot grew into a design team term and from there I've stayed and now I serve on her senior team.
Here's where you can find Lori:
Clearly iStamp (Her blog)
Clear Dollar Stamps (Her store)
I think the Lord put me on her team way back when to get me through our last year. I know you'll understand this... as a stamper it's hard to stay on budget when it comes to crafting stuff. My crafting shopping has practically come to a standstill since our move and since I'm on the design team I receive stamps in exchange for my samples. How cool is that?! My investment has been what I can afford which is my time. What's really awesome is that now I am using up the supplies I hoarded way back when. :-)
To sum it up, neither Moe or Lori know that I appreciate them so much. I hope they don't mind that I am bragging about them today.
Now don't you forget... if you are reading this you are BLESSING to me too. Thank you for caring enough to follow my postings and for stopping by to comment on my blog.
THANK YOU!

Good friends are a great blessing!
Hooray :)
You are blessed! Can't wait to see you.
Wow, thanks for sharing your blessings. I too was touched and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was from God, when Lori sent me a card that she had been praying for me and my family as well. My husband has a job and an income, but it has taken him to Iraq over and over again, lol. It stinks that he's gone, but we are blessed that he has employment. You have definitely reminded me all that I have to thankful for and just how blessed I am. I will pray for you too, Nancy.
Good for you for maintaining such a great, positive outlook!! I think this last year has been so very hard on so many people - hang in there and enjoy your crafting, it is great therapy! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
I inclination not acquiesce in on it. I assume polite post. Particularly the designation attracted me to be familiar with the whole story.
Thanks Nacne! It brought tears to my eyes. We are truly blessed and God is ever faithful and knows our every need. Hugs! Moe
Thanks for sharing this we us -- I always forget to be thankful for the hard times -- they always make the good times ever better!!
Big hugs and smiles,
Corie
Hi Nancy!
I totally understand your feelings on receiving a special package in the mail from a well loved blogger bud. For different reasons, I received a similar package and at the time, I cried. I think there are a lot of us softies out there and in the "real world" it's scary to reach out. I have found a true kinship with bloggers on so many different levels and have grown personally from them sharing their lives and feelings with us all, albeit from the other end of a computer connection.
We are different. We are the same. We are just us!
I hope that your strength continue and that you look towards the future. You are very talented and a good person. Good things will come. Reach out and know you are so worthy of all this and more.
Okay, I'm vahklempt and all sentimental because of your post. Now, isn't that meaningful and isn't that REAL?
{Hugs}
Juls~
Nancy, what a precious post. Your blog is where I first heard of Clear Dollar and now I feel *so* blessed to serve on the team with you. Isn't it so like our God to bless us with a friend like Lori and even to provide us with stamps when funds are tight or non-existant??
I think I need that prayer card set. That is such an incredible gift that she gave you. Thank you so much for sharing.
I hope you enjoy CHA. I can't wait to hear your updates!!
Blessings,
Tricia
Oh my precious sister. You are blessed with peeps who love and adore you. Let us hold you up. Feel everything. Give yourself permission to be where you're at. Trust the sun rises again. And of course your faith will carry you through. I'm always here to love, support, and inspire you back to giggles, love, and creativity.
*hugs*
