Merry Christmas Blessings

Merry Christmas to you and your family. I had the great joy of cooking with my Mom for our family celebration today. We made a delicious brunch for four generations of us. On the menu was Swedish Pancakes, bacon & sausage (both turkey & pork), fresh fruit salad, homemade whipped cream & jams, and tamales. YUMMY! What a great blessing to be surrounded in the warmth of fellowship and to have a full tummy to celebrate to birth of our Saviour. I pray that you are having a wonderful day full of fabulous memories and the joy of Jesus' birth.

We will be making our final leg of our move to Oregon later this week. It has been a very long month of moving and traveling. I can't wait to go forward and get settled into our new adventure of homesteading. I know it's not the arctic but I am sure I'll have many a story to share in the upcoming years. Our friends back home have graciously nicknamed our new life as "Granola". It makes me chuckle to be labeled as "Granola" because I am a bit fruity and a big nut! We are definitely going from one extreme to the next... God has blessed us indeed!

Merry Christmas my creative, blogging, stamping, friends! May you always know God's blessings and if you don't know Christ as your personal Saviour I encourage you to come to know the true meaning of Christmas.

I copied and pasted this from Corin's blog Inky Doodle because I think she summed it best:

Jesus is the reason for the season!
Praise God for his unspeakable gift (2 Corinthians 9:15)…the gift of his son, Jesus, who came to save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). I pray that you have accepted this precious gift, the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23)

Hugs,
