A View from My Window...

Things sure have taken a turn in my life. My husband and I have decided that it's time to move back to the Lower 48. He's been praying about us leaving Barrow for a while now. As for me, I never thought that we would leave. Needless to say I've had to take a step back and trust God's leading. We put our house on the market and it sold within 24 hours of the first showing. Everything else has been selling too... furniture, car, etc. We anticipate being out of Alaska by the end of November. Big changes are underway...

On a stamping note, I will be organizing a sale of all the stamping supplies that wont' be moving with us. I'll probably have a local sale first and then post what remains here. I am still working on my designs for Clear Dollar Stamps to post this week. You can expect to see my samples by the end of the week. :-)

Yesterday as I was stamping my CDS samples I caught a snowy owl looking over me! Yep, perched on my neighbor's rooftop was a snowy owl. This was one of the few sightings that I've had all season. The last few summers there were many owls but this summer I barely saw any. Actually, last Friday was the first one that spied and even then I wasn't sure if it was one or not. Anyhow, there you have it... my peeping tom... a handsome snowy owl!

Thanks for the photo of your snowy owl. Maybe he stopped by to say goodbye!

Best wishes for a smooth move. The Lord has blessed you already with a quick sale of your house. I'll be keeping you in prayer and hope you'll be keeping us informed of your new adventures!

Nancy- I will be praying for you as you transition into your new home! Is Oregon the garden state? I have heard it is beautiful, although I have never been there. I will be on the look out for updates!

Nancy,
I spoke with Shannon Murphy this morning and she told me you were leaving Barrow soon. Is it true you will be in our neighboring state of Oregon? I really hope so, I have met a few scrap bookers that like to take weekend trips to focus on just scrapping. I hope we could all meet up with you!
God Bless in your travels!
