Third X is a Charm...

Every since I tried Beth's watercoloring Tombow technique I've had the itch to color and color some more. The first chance I had to stamp this afternoon I took another shot at it. The flower stamps I used were a gift from Angela of Artistic Detours. I mounted them shortly after they arrived and I am just now getting to use them. For shame! Thanks again Angela! Your gift is such a treat. :-)

Back to the cards, they all came together quite quickly once the images where colored. It's the sentiment that I had such a problem with! Hence the title of this post... third time is a charm. It took me three times until I finally got it straight. All in all I am happy with these ditties. They make me smile and I think the slanted sentiments add character to the designs. Actually, it reminds me of my handwriting. Maybe that's why I kinkda like the look.

I hope you had a blessed Monday.

Your cards are just darling, Nancy. I met a girl this evening that just got back from a year and a half mission for our church to Alaska. Naturally I thought of you and had to ask if she'd ever been in Barrow. She hadn't but we had a fun little conversation about what it's like in Alaska. I know it must be VERY different from Alabama. :)
