Wednesday...

UPDATE: Jean had asked if I sponged the background. Yes, I did sponge the background after I had ran it through my Big Shot. I did it after so I would know where to distress the area the most to make the embossing pop. Thanks for asking Jean.

Here it is the middle of the week and I don't even know the date. That's what has happened to me since I don't go to work everyday.... I loose track of the date. I didn't realize how much I had not paid attention to this detail until tonight. There are some application deadlines that I need to have done soon so I better pay better attention to the date not just the day of the week.

Barrow has had some internet interruptions over the weekend... wanna see my number one internet interruption? (See the photo to the left.) Her name is Ellie and she officially can get to places that I never imagined possible. This is the one I get most often when I am trying to do computer work. It's an effective way for her to get moved up to my lap and then played with. I am so blessed to have a child that wants me 24-7. I'm not being sarcastic here. We prayed for God to give us a baby for so long and now we have a healthy daughter. Praise God for such a blessing. :-)

The card I am posting today was a Di Hickman sketch (I think. I can't find where I saw it now and I'm not sure if I have it quite right. Sorry ladies.) She has an awesome site doesn't she? I used the same papers as yesterday's card for Beate's Weekend Challenge. I had a terrible time coming up with one for this sketch. It doesn't look that hard but it was for me.

I hope you had an enjoyable day. Thanks again for visiting me today.

Ellie is just the cutest little thing! What a nice interruption to have.

And I was wondering, did you sponge ink or something on the cardstock after you ran it through the Cuttlebug with the embossing folder? That's a very nice look!

Awww...she is so cute. Reminds me of my Molly when I'm on the computer. She's in my lap right now matter of factly.

This is gorgeous; I really love the green/brown combos lately, probably because green has always been my favorite color! I don't think there's a shade of green I don't like!
