GROOVY Lamp

I was so excited to receive my Flourishes Design Team package last Thursday. Unfortunately, we were headed out to do my very first official photo shoot. It was my first shoot behind the camera on official business. We did a family portrait session for some friends here in town. Anyhow, I also had a technique class to stop by after the shoot at Laurie's. So when Andrew handed me the box from Flourishes, I didn't have more than a few minutes to look them over and no time to stop and play. It was so hard not to think about my box of Flourishes goodies waiting for me at home all evening. The next day I took out the box and just stared at it all... ribbons, paper, and stamps OH MY! Many ideas were flowing. It was then a matter of inking them all out. I waited until Saturday night before I actually started to design my first cards. By then I had psyched myself out and kept messing up. It wasn't until Sunday night that I finally had two cards completed and ready for Flourishes. Here's my second card that I made last Sunday night. I call it my "Groovy Lamp".

CARD DETAILS:
Flourished Cake Decorating 101 Set
The Angel Company Sentiment
Versa Magic Chalk Ink
Palette Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
Basic Grey Infusion Paper
Vellum
Ribbon
Mini Buttons
