CRACKED Glass

Here's one I saved from the trash. Actually, all the comments I received on the water coloring with chalks card saved this one from the trash. Thanks everyone!

So here's why I was going to trash it... the problem was when I went to rub ink over the cracks to make them pop-out more the clearness and glossiness of the faux glass went away. It was really frustrating. It was like looking through a very dusty mud covered window. I must of used the wrong kind of ink to make the cracks pop. Now that I think about it it probably wasn't a good idea to use Palette ink for that kind of job. Bummer. Anyhow, later I decided to try to save the "dirty" cracked glass by wiping/cleaning the image with a paper towel and then I covered the entire image with 3D Crystal Lacquer. (This is similar to SU! Crystal Effects). After the 3D Crystal Lacquer had dried it let me crack it again without chilling it in the freezer. The cracks aren't as deep as when you do it with clear embossing powder but they are there none the less. It doesn't look too bad now.
