This is me. |
Just wanted to say, "Hello". Life has been so busy but I haven't forgotten about blogging. So many times I have things that I want to share but haven't the time to sit down and write. So here it goes...
The last few months cropped up some unexpected minor health issues and now I am trading some of my free time to go to the gym. As an eskimo I hate being hot and gym time leaves me very hot and glistening. Whew! I hope to someday see the results I am longing for. :-)
I'm still working part time. I am thankful to have a job. Especially one that keeps me in touch with Barrow. What a blessing.

Girlfriend Jesii and little Ellie. |
My son and his girlfriend came to live with us for while. Well mostly his girlfriend lived with us as my son obtained a job back in Alaska and returned first to get things settled. It was so nice to get to know her while she was here. Jesii endured our family life pretty well and she's crafty too! It was easy for me to have them around and now that they moved to Alaska I am missing them both.

Ellie at the beach. |
The rain has finally stopped for more than two days in a row and summer is finally here. We took our first road trip in discovering Oregon. We went to the coast! It was wonderful to be on the sand, see the ocean, and hear the waves crash. It drizzled the entire time we were there but it was worth the long drive there and back. Our daughter wants go back everyday! Awe... a girl after her mommy's heart. ;-)

Me and my husband at the beach. |
We moved into our new home in town and I am finally getting settled in. All them rainy days lead to many short shopping trips to find furniture and home decor. It's been a great experience. Maintaining a practical budget was even more fun.
Whelp, that's it for now. I hope you don't mind me sharing some of my personal stuff. I'll be posting more crafty stuff next time.

Katie Renz |
Before I go if you have a moment, say a prayer for my friend
Katie Renz. I love that girl and she's pretty sick from her cancer treatments and illness. I pray that she'll be healed. With all things life is in God's hands.
Thank you,
~Nancy
