(A view from the kitchen sink.)
Well... when in trouble, or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout. Panic can be lots of fun, if you holler scream and run!
~ A quote from my funny husband. Who knows where he picked it up and now I have it stuck in my head.
(Photo of me and my Ellie girl.)
The cabin is 81 degrees all the way over at my desk which is usually the coldest or the hottest area of the front room depending on the season. It's so sweet to be in flip-flops and a tank in here while it's wintery out side. Yesterday Andrew and I spent some time rearranging the furniture and the results are pleasant. While moving things around he spray foamed all the tiny gaps in our plank walls. Since then we've maintained the heat pretty well. Not only that the new arrangement makes the cabin look so much bigger and homey. Now I have a cute little corner to get crafty at and from my chair I can see the kitchen, our room, Ellie's room, and the living room. I likey so much! :-)
Our alternate power system finally came online a couple of weeks ago and our usual energy conservation mode has been replaced with more energy consumption. This means that I can surf the web as long as little Ellie will let me! It's been a blast discovering new blogs and websites to fuel my crafty side.
Here's some links to sites that have inspired me. I hope you find them as enjoyable as I have. Don't forget to check their sidebars for past freebies or tutorials. By the way these sites are not exclusively stamping/papercrafting related...

OH so good to hear!!
i LOVE your kitchen window view. it reminds me of home :)
What a lovely view! Can't believe how big your "baby" girl has gotten (and mom is as beautiful as ever)! Trying to do some catch up blog hopping. Seems like life and keeping up with all my A Muse stuff (good stuff, no less) has made visiting take a back burner. I've decided to try to do better this year! Wishing you and your family a Blessed 2010! Hugs!
Beautiful view! Your Psalm quote reminded me of when my husband was away on a business trip just after we moved into our new house. To keep from being afraid at night, I took comfort in another Psalm which says "The God of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps." It made me realize that I could sleep because He didn't!
