Bees...

There are so many styles of stamps out there but I always tend to like certain designs. Bees are no different. I love bee stamps and these sets are sweet like honey! My samples today feature two new sets coming out in January 2010 for Clear Dollar Stamps. They are called "Bee-lieve" and "Home Sweet Hive". CS/PAPERS: Cosmo Cricket Fleuriste, Plain White Mailing Envelope, White Cardstock Close To My Heart
INK: Palette Ink Noir Black & Charcoal Grey
ACCENTS/TOOLS: Scor-Pal, Sizzix Scribbles Swirls, Prima Hydrangea, Basic Grey Opaline half Pearls, Scribbles 3D Paint Shiny Winter White, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Nestabilities Labels 4, MS Edge Punch
TECHNIQUES: Shimmer Paper & Dry Embossing with Scor-pal
SPECIAL NOTES: For added shimmer on designer paper (DP), I mixed diluted hairspray with water and added Pearl Ex powders into travel sized misters. I have separate misters for each different color. Once completely mixed you spray onto cardstock and/or DP and allow to air dry. The effect is stunning.
The card design itself is an envelope with the part you write on that slides out.
