Framed Fun

Clear Dollar Stamps has these cool frames in their store. I picked up one in black and one in white not too long ago. Instead of holding on to them to collect dust I thought I'd give it a whirl and make one of them useful. This month's new release set Horse Heritage set is perfect for framing. This time around I gold embossed the image onto watercolor paper and watercolered the image with markers. I love the way it turned out and I hope you love it too!

Beauty, Courage, & Strength

It's so close to the end of May and here's the last new release Clear Dollar Stamps set that I have to share. It's called Horse Heritage and it was designed by Vicki Conquest. I have so many people in my family that are horse lovers. This set is perfect for making gifts and cards just for them. Not only that I like the sentiments that accompany the images. They make for a great lead in to Memorial Day...



I am so thankful to those that have defended our country and I am equally thankful to their families that have supported them. Each individual is a symbol of beauty, courage, and strength. May God bless you all and may our great country bless God.

Wonderful Day...

Today is a wonderful day. My husband had his hair cut in town so Ellie and I went along for the ride and went across the street to the thrift store. She just loves to rummage through the toys and I love to look for crafting supplies and vintage clothes. We made it out of the store with a brand new three pack of animal puzzles and that was it. On the way home Andrew bought a soft serve ice cream for me. Oh so yummy-yummy and sweet. :-)

Here's another card from the new "Words of Gratitude" set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I also combined it with "Spread Your Wings".

Hey there...

Just checking in! Things has been really busy and to be honest I am still a bit overwhelmed with my new life outside of the arctic. Summer is almost here and I hope that I don't melt or better off I hope the creepy, crawly, yucky bugs go on vacation! Wouldn't that be something!?

Anyhow, I have been stamping up a storm to get my Clear Dollar Stamps' samples done for this month and next month. Here's just one of my latest. I hope you like it. The stamps used are from this month's new set called "Words of Gratitude".

Ernie Critter

God has been so good to us. Last night our dog body slammed into our daughter by accident. She hit her head so hard on the floor that I thought for sure that we were headed to the ER. Thankfully my Mom is a nurse and she helped me keep an eye on her. By bedtime Ellie fell asleep in my arms with a frozen bag of peas on her head. She whimpered a couple times over night and had Tylenol first thing this morning. Everything seems to be okay. Such an answer to pray to know that she's okay. She's retold the incident a couple times today... it goes like this: Jack, ouchie, boo-boo bunny, the end. That's how she'll always remember it. The one that doesn't recollect the whole event is our silly dog!

Speaking of critters... check out this new Clear Dollar Stamps expansion sentiment set called "Christian Critters Too". I don't know about you but I am a huge fan of sentiment sets. I just gotta get them ALL! :-) So here's my first card with Christian Critters Too. I hope it makes you smile like I am smiling knowing that not matter what God's gonna get us through all our troubles.

Fruity Fun Thanks...

Thank you all for your sweet feel better comments. My headache has gone away which is so nice. I feel for everyone who has allergies or chronic headaches and have to deal with headaches on an ongoing basis. I hadn't stamped in days until this afternoon. It felt so good to finally sit down and create something. I finished one card and tonight I plan on finishing a second when Ellie goes to bed. After all Mother's Day is right around the corner and I need some more cards. I hope you're not as bad as me when it comes to procrastinating. ;-) I'll have the cards I made today to share later on this week.

Enjoying Life...

I have such a huge headache. I don't know why but I'm just gonna enjoy my day anyway. I just read the scripture of the day on my sidebar was encouraged. I am so relieved to know that Jesus is my Saviour and that I am going to heaven someday. We went to my Mom's church today and the minister there is doing a series where it poses the question, "What would you do if you only had 30 days to live?". I immediately thought of soul winning. I would want to share the gospel and lead as many people to Christ if I had 30 days left to live. This is actually something I should do constantly and not just if I only had 30 days left. I pray for my unsaved family and friends all the time. I don't want to be before God and have my friends and family ask me why didn't I tell them of Jesus. Most of the time I am so scared to share my faith because people think that I am judging them or that the gospel is offending to their lifestyle. I was totally that way before I let God into my life. I will tell ya that letting God be responsible for me is the best decision I ever made and I am glad to have surrendered to His call. How sweet the world would be if everyone personally pursued a life blessed by the God of the Bible. :-)

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
