Stamping Fun at Lauries!

It's the third Thursday of the month which means that it's Technique Class at Laurie's. It is always a nice time to get away from home and spend some of the evening with the other stamping ladies of our community. Laurie works hard to prepare for her classes and she always teaches us techniques that I don't think of doing on my own. Tonight we made a starburst card and Christmas card. The starburst card wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. However, it requires concentration. All in all it's worth the effort. I left the card sentimentless in hopes of filling it later to fit the occasion. The Christmas card was fun too. We used tissue paper to cover the snowflakes in the middle. It sure does make for a soft effect.

Thank you Laurie for the awesome techniques! Oh how I appreciate you!
Smiles,
~nance

Note:

I am still in the midst of working on the wedding scrapbook for a client. I am about to be done as far as I can go without actually having the prints. It's been a true learning experience and I thank God for the opportunity to grow. Thanks for checking in on me as I've been a little scarce lately.

Hello! I just found your blog through Arctic Living. Snowflake cards are my favourite and is this is beautiful, so subtle! I'm in England and it's frosty today which is very unusual for November. I would LOVE to live somewhere so cold!
