It has been a great time getting to know the incredible bloggers that make up our stamping community. It is always a blessing to read your comments and emails of support and encouragement. I am always surprised when I find myself given any of those blogging awards that go around. The latest of the of which was the "You Make Me Smile Award". Jana of 2 Worlds mentioned me as one of the ladies that make her smile. Thank you Jana for making me feel so special to be included in your group of inspirational ladies. Big SMILES!

7 FACTS OF ME GAME
Suzy of Paper Monkey tagged me with the 7 Very Random and Weird Facts game. I am stumped at the moment so please see my previous posts on this one. Me
Right after I posted this I found out that Mary Duffek of Moe Joe Designs also tagged me with the 7 facts game. She's an Alaskan native too... half Aleut whereas I am half Inupiat. Very cool!
5 QUESTIONS GAME:
Norma J of Ditty Dots tagged me with 5 Questions:
1. If you could have $100.00 worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose?
Oh that is a tough one. I use both so much with my paper crafts that it makes it so hard to choose. It would be easy to store the paper but embellishments are such a treat. That's it. I would choose the embellishments.
2. If you had to choose between using only stamps or rub ons, which would you choose?
For sure that one would be STAMPS! I love them so!
3. If you knew how to do both awesome cards and layouts, but could only do one for
a whole year... which would you do?
Although I started out scrapping, I would definitely stick it out with cards.
4. Would you rather own a scrapbooking store or have your own scrapping room at
home....(can't have both. he.he.he)
I would love to have a stamping store but I am content with having my own scrapping room. Less stress there and then I could still spend my time with my little daughter.
5. And last but not least, what is your CURRENT card making or scrapping style....
Style? Uhmmmm.... I tend to distress everything (Basic Grey style) but my eye loves clean and simple. I don't know what my style is other than "Miscellaneous".
THE NAME GAME:
I was tagged by Rita Holmes of Stamp Crazy with the name game. Since I've done this one before I thought I'd play with the name of my town.. BARROW. Now I need to list one fact that is somehow relevant to my life, for each letter.
B= Babble... sometimes I can go on and on.
A= Alaskan... I am an Alaskan Eskimo from the North Slope of Alaska of a people called the Inupiat.
R= Round... I have a round face and chubby cheeks. This makes me a jolly looking woman.
R= Relaxed... thank God that I have a relaxing life. I am so good at dotting it with business.
O= Offering... my life is an offering to God.
W= Whimsical...playfully quaint. That's me.
PHOTO DETAILS: Although I made the Eskimo girl bookmark clip Rebecca Grohall took the picture. You can visit Rebecca at Bella Carta.
