JEN's Sketch Challenge...ButterFLY
Even though I was in the midst of moving my crafting area, I managed to make this card yesterday morning. I felt like a big kid sitting on the floor using my light box as a tabletop. I don't know what was more challenging trying to find my scissors in the unorganized mess or keeping my legs from falling asleep from under me. Either way I did finish just one project. YEA!!!!
I used Jen's sketch challenge which is more of matchbook challenge to make this little card. I used a white blank card as the base. Trimmed it down and scored the bottom to form the matchbook closure. I used my Big Shot to emboss the closure with a Cuttlebug folder. The stamps are a combination of Paper Trey and Flourishes. I think they blend so well together. The designer papers are from Making Memories and the ribbon is from Martha Stewart's collection. I also used Scrapbooker's Floss made by Karen Foster for the antenna and loose beads to form the butterfly body. This is a small card. It's about a 3'x3' square. I am including a second photo to show you how the butterfly had some dimension to it. Ooops... I forgot to mention that the doodling image was stamped with a TAC (The Angel Company) stamp and then covered with Crystal Stickles.

Hey girl, thanks for playing - totally love this card, and how you have the butterfly actually almost taking off of your card. Very cut!!!
