Another Sketch Challenge - Tracy's Happy Place
The sketch challenge of the month over at Tracy's Happy Place was to do a masculine card using the SCS Sketch No. 99. I started out using paper as the sketch sample appeared but it just wasn't coming out right. Today I haven't had a lot of stamping time and it wasn't until Daddy came home and played with baby Ellie that I finally finished this one. It's kinda hard to see that I used two different stamps to make the background match the sketch. I also couldn't fit the sentiment on the front with the knight in the middle. So I squished him over a tad and added the sentiment on the side of the knight vertically. Andrew loves the outcome. He's a guy and since this is to be a guy card I feel good about not re-doing the challenge. Yea!! I'm done.
CARD DETAILS:
The Angel Company Stamps used for the Background
Cornish Heritage Farms ~ The Knight on Horseback
Sentiment is from an unknown company
Colorbox Platinum Pigment Ink
Palette Ink Noir
Blue and White Cardstock
Basic Grey Paper as the Matte
Black Ribbon
Square Brads
