SCRAP Card

The one and only card swap I've participated in was a swap with other Angels from The Angel Company. We needed to design a card front that is an autobiographical scrap page. Here's my scrap page. I used binding tape as a hinge so I could include a little write up about myself under my photo. It was a tough but rewarding project to complete and it was also my first time to use stickles and Versa Magic Chalk Inks. Both products are supreme and I have added just about every color of each that TAC sells to my supply cabinet. Versa Magic Chalk inks blend so well and are emboss-able. I love the soft finish too. I use these inks as background enhancers all the time. You can see where I sponged the edges of the card stock on my photo mat with multiple colors. Stickles. Well, what can I say about stickles? The make all my project sparkle with the just enough bling. It's nice that the bottle nozzles are small enough to apply to smaller detail images. The stamped words were from the current gift with purchase stamps from TAC and the swirls were from the Fall Supplement catalog called "Flourishes". Lastly, the photo was taken in my yard last Spring. The snow was finally melting and you can see the bird house behind me.
